The Cable Core Identifier is a cost-effective tool designed to determine phase rotation in un-energized three-phase H.V. cables prior to jointing. It is easy to use and highly effective, utilizing three coloured LEDs to validate proper connections. The Receiver is connected at the remote end, and continuity between phases is checked by following the instructions on the Transmitter and changing the coloured crocodile connectors accordingly. When all three LEDs light up, it indicates the correct phase connection.
